Welcome to one of the oldest    and largest
department of NIT Srinagar. The department
is undergoing various transformations and is
developing quite fast as one of the fastest
evolving department of the college.

The Department is constantly modernizing the
infrastructure and lab facilities and is finding
newer ways to affiliate itself with industries so
as to keep itself well updated with the latest
technology.

   The course is arguably one of the best in the
country in the field of electrical engineering. Its greatest   strength is its adaptability
to   the changing industry requirements Students here are not   only learning the
newest technologies, but are also given ample industry exposure.
