            Class registration of 1st semester 2008 batch is scheduled from 24th to 26th of July, 2008 at National Institute of Technology, Srinagar (J&K). Candidates who have been allotted seat at NIT Srinagar but have done remote reporting, are advised to report to this Institute by or before 26th of July, 2008 for class registration positively.

ATTENTION ADMISSION  2008  CANDIDATES.

 

The candidates  to  be nominated by Central Counselling  Board for admission to the B.Tech. Courses at  NIT,Srinagar are informed to report in the Academic Section as per the programme given by the CCB  together with following original documents and 4 sets of the said certificates.

 

1.      CBSE Admit Card

2.      CBSE Score Card

3.      Allotment letter issued by the counseling centre

4.      Fee receipt issued by the counseling centre

5.      12th (10+2) marks certificate

6.      12th(10+2)qualification certificate

7.      Matric (Qualification) Date of Birth Certificate

8.      SC/ST/OBC/PH category Certificate(In case of category candidates)

9.      Character certificate from the school/college last attended

10.  Discharge certificate from the school/college last attended

11.  Migration Certificate

12.  Income certificate

13.  Affidavit duly attested by Ist class magistrate( in case of those who have not joined any educational institution after passing 10+2 examination till date.

14.  Identity card of father(will be returned on spot)

15.  16 passport size photographs

Note:

1.        Candidates who have deposited Rs. 15,000/- at counseling centers need not to pay any admission fee, however they have to pay mess and hostel fee of Rs. 7,500/-

2.         Candidates belonging to SC, ST category have to pay Rs. 3,740/- in addition to Rs. 5,000/- deposited at the counseling centers as admission fee. Mess and hostel  fee of Rs. 7,500/- will have to be deposited by students residing in the institute hostel.
