Applications on plain paper giving full Bio-data alongwith attested copies of certificates of all academic qualifications are invited for engagement of candidates for teaching assignments purely on Contract basis on Fifty Nine (59) days basis with usual breaks of two working days after every spell of 59 days for the academic session 2008 likely to continue upto December, 2008 in following disciplines. The applications complete in all respects should reach the undersigned on or before 08-03-2008:

QUALIFICATION FOR NON-ENGINEERING DEPARTMENTS

B. E. First Division or equivalent CGPA. Preference will be given to M.E. / M.Tech. candidates.

M.Sc. with atleast 55% marks in respective discipline in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. M.Phil, Ph.D. candidates will be given preference.

HUMANITIES: A post graduate in English with at least 55% marks OR an equivalent CGPA at the Master’s degree level in relevant subject from an Indian University OR an equivalent degree from a Foreign University with Economics and Sociology at Graduate level. Experience of teaching in a Technical Institution.

Consolidated contractual remuneration per month as under:

M.E./ M.Tech. OR Ph.D.

However, the monthly payment shall depend upon the actual number of days the candidate attends the duty in a month and in case of absence from duty pro-rate payment will be made.

Candidates already in service need not to apply for the above contractual engagement.

No TA / DA will be paid by the Institute to the candidates for attending the Interview. The eligible candidates will be interviewed in the Committee Room of the Institute as per following programme:
